I'm Jan Harasym — a classically trained sysadmin who ended up doing infrastructure, platform engineering, and occasionally shouting into the void about how things should work.

I've spent most of my career somewhere between operations and development, building and breaking things in roughly equal measure. I care about systems that are honest about their failure modes and organisations that don't pretend complexity away.
